Schmoozing with Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan and Others

This evening I had the pleasure of attending a holiday fundraiser for State Representative Karen Whitsett. Karen Whitsett (D) is a member of the the Michigan House of Representatives and represents District 9. She was elected to the office on November 6, 2018. Representatives in Michigan are allowed to serve three - two year terms.

The event took place at Starters Bar & Grill and was attended by many friends, business associates and supporters. I had the pleasure of sitting and talking with Craig Miller, Sr. Craig is president of the Detroit Police Officers Association.

I was also introduced to Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan who made a brief appearance.

December is always a festive month. It was fun to kick off the holiday season with this gathering.
